Reading - Students should finish reading their partner book on the Revolutionary War by April 10.
1. Math - Do 3 TenMarks assignments. Students started this in class, and all students completed at least one of the 3 assignments. Test tomorrow on volume.
2. Partner Book - Read to your agreed-upon page. Be ready to discuss your answers to the question sheet passed out at the end of school today. Do not fill out the question sheet at home. You will fill it out in class after you and your partner have shared your ideas. 1. Math - Problems TR-1 - TR-11 of the gray Application Packet. Students started this in class. These are test review problems. Math test on volume on Thursday.
2. IRP Presentations tomorrow and Thursday. 3. Kidblog corrections due tomorrow. 4. Partner Book - Read tonight and Wednesday to your assigned page, and be ready to discuss with your partner on Thursday. 1. Math - Complete the homework for lesson 6. Remember to show volume expressions, neat and organized work, drawings, and labels. Volume test on Thursday.
2. IRP Presentations - Rehearse at home! 3 Kidblog corrections due on Wednesday. 4. Partner Book - read for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Be prepared to discuss on Thursday. 1. IRP - Practice your presentation at home using your slides. Include gestures to your slides. Make good eye contact with the audience. Speak with professional authority and enthusiasm. Don't read your notes. We have 10 student presentations on Monday, 11 on Tuesday, 6 on Wednesday, and 4 on Thursday. Students have their schedules and it is posted below.
2. Kidblog - Revisions on the March Kidblog are due by next Wednesday. 3. Partner Book - Read to agreed-upon page for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You will meet with your partner on Monday. 4. Math -Test on volume next Thursday. 1. Math - Complete the homework for Lesson 5 and the Exit Ticket for Lesson 5 tonight.
2. Partner Book - Read to the next agreed-upon page and be ready to discuss with your partner tomorrow. 3. IRP - Finish your presentation and speech. Practice at home using your Google Slides on a laptop or iPad at your side. Your presentation should be very close to 5 minutes long. If it is too long, take out some material. If it is too short, add material. As you practice, make sure you (1) gesture to your slides, (2) speak from knowledge (don't read!), (3) make good eye contact with the audience, and (4) speak with confidence and authority at an appropriate volume and speed. ALL presentations are next week. HERE is the schedule. 4. Kidblog - Revisions on your March Kidblog are due next Wednesday. (I am still writing revision comments for a few students, and they will be done this afternoon.) Math - Complete 2 TenMarks assignments on Volume. Some students started these assignments in class.
IRP - Finish your slides and the speaking notes for them. Students worked on this today in class. Kidblog Book - Read to the page you and your partner agreed upon. The book needs to be completely read by April 10, and the written Kidblog is due on April 18. 1. Math - Homework for lesson 4

2. Social Studies - Test tomorrow. Note check: Students should come with handouts stapled in order and the red sheet on top. In their spiral notebooks, they should have "questions" written in the left margins which are answered by the notes taken in the right column. 3. IRP - Finish slides 1-4 and write the notes for your speech for those slides if you didn't finish in class. 1. Social Studies test and note-check next Tuesday.
