How to use the Clever single sign-on: Navigate to clever.com/in/mbusd. Type in your MBUSDApps username and password. Most of of the apps students use can be accessed from Clever.
How to access Google Classroom at home. Here are several options! If one doesn't work, try another!
On any browser
1. In the URL Search window, type classroom.google.com and press enter. Or, click on the Google Classroom logo below.
2. If another person in the household has a Google account (such as a gmail account), Classroom will "default" to that account. Don't try to use the other person's account. It won't work. Google Classroom requires the student's MBUSDapps account.
3. Either click on the colored circle in the upper right corner with the letter in it - OR - look in the center of the screen where it says "Try another account."
4. You willl see a pop-up with all of the Google Accounts associated with the computer.
5. If your child has used their Google mbusdapps account with your computer in the past, you will see the account. Click on it. You will be taken to the Google Classroom home page.
6. If your child's mbusdapps account does not show up, click "Use Another Account."
7. On the new screen enter the student's MBUSD Google Apps username ([email protected]) and password. Usernames and passwords are written each student's agendas.
8. Once the student's account is associated with the computer, his/her account will appear in upper right corner of any Google page (Google search, Google News, Google Doc, etc.) if you click the colored letter in the circle in the upper right corner of the Google page.
Chrome Browser - Incognito
1. Open Chrome browser.
2. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner, and click "New Incognito Window."
3. In the URL Search window, type classroom.google.com and press enter.
4. In the Google for Education window, with the Classroom logo in the middle, click Sign In.
5. Students need to put their MBUSD Google Apps username ([email protected]) and password. At student's username and password are written in his/her agenda.
Safari Browser - To use the "incognito" form of Safari, go to File and click New Private Window. Follow the same procedure.
Note: Students should not try to write essays or literary responses using a smart phone or iPad.
