Tuesday, March 17th
Good morning and Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Will there be a rainbow today? Gold at the end of it? Many of you completed most, but not all, of your assignments for Monday. I have emailed your parents if you did not finish some of your work. It is important that you not get behind, so please work extra hard to catch up today. This is the normal amount of work we would do if you were in school and for homework. As we adjust to this “at-home” learning, here are some tips.
8:30-9:30 - Math 9:30-9:45 - Break 9:45-10:15 - Reading 10:15-11:00 - Science etc.

Social Studies - Students, you are not taking notes with your distance learning. It was fun, and you were doing great, but it just doesn’t work quite as well on-line. Don’t worry! Tomorrow you will fill in a packet. Just like old times! Today you are going to learn how the Second Continental Congress created and adopted the Declaration of Independence.
Monday, March 16th
Good morning, Room 20 students! This the day that we start this on-line learning adventure together! I know you are up to the task! Let’s start with something positive. Please post Padlet from the link I will share with you Google Classroom in the Daily Check-in page. Share a note about something positive or fun from this weekend. Then take a picture of yourself for your note! Only ONE note per student please. With all of our pictures, we will “sort of” all be in class together. (Please remember that I am moderating posts. That means that your post will not show until I “approve” it. Please follow P.R.I.D.E rules when you post. If your post is not appropriate, it will be deleted.) Here is your classwork/homework for the day. You do not have to do it in the order I’m posting it. But you do need to complete it all. Need help? I am here to help you all day long during the school day! If you have a question about an assignment, first reread the instructions and try problem solving. If you still can’t figure it out, you have 3 ways to ask a question: 1. Leave me a “private comment” under the assignment. 2. Write a private question in the “What Questions Do You Have?” assignment in the Daily Check-In class. 3. Email me. Please be patient. There are 30 of you, and only 1 of me! Math-
